Egg malai curry recipe.
INGREDIENTS-
- Boiled eggs.
- Coconut milk ( 1 cup).
- 1 big sized onion ( chopped).
- 2 green chillies.
- 1 tblspn kasoori methi ( dry roasted).
- 1 tblspn ginger garlic paste.
- 1 bay leaf.
- 2 dry red chilly.
- 4 green cardamom, 2 cloves, cinnamon sticks.
- 2 tablspn mustard powder, salt to taste,
- 2 table spoon sugar.
- 1/2 table spoon cumin powder.
- 1/2 tablspn coriander powder.
- 1/2tblspn turmeric powder.
- 1/2 tblspn red chilly powder.
- 4 tblspn mustard oil.
- 1/2 tblspn garam masala powder.
- 1 tblspn ghee.
- 1 tblspn kasoori methi ( fenugreek leaves)
METHOD-
- Cut the boiled eggs in two halves.
- Marinate it with salt, turmeric powder and red chilly powder.
- Fry it in a pan in a low flame.
- keep it aside.
- Heat a pan.
- Add mustard oil.
- Add bay leaf, dry red chillies and dry garam masalas to it.
- Fry it.
- Add chopped onions into it and fry till golden brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste and cook till the raw smell goes.
- Now add all the dry powder spices and fry for sometimes.
- Next add the coconut milk and a little water.
- Let it boil.
- Add the fried boiled eggs into it.
- Cover the lid.
- Uncover it and add garam masala powder, ghee and kasoori methi powder into it.
- Mix it gently.
- Serve hot and enjoy the taste.
SUGGESTION-
- Marinate the boiled eggs and then fry it.
- You can use onion paste instead of chopped onions into it..
- You can also add a tablespoon of cream into it.
- Garnish it with spring onions or coriander leaves.
